Enrolment
You can enrol at any time to be a member of the centre by completing the enrolment form and paying an annual registration fee and one-off bond. Your bond is refunded when you leave the centre.
Once enrolled, bookings can be made for permanent placements or on a casual basis. Casual bookings are accepted on or before the day required (must be confirmed by co-ordinator).
Permanent booking – your child uses the centre for the same session (morning and/or afternoon) each week.
Casual booking – you can use the centre on a ‘as-needs’ basis, depending on what vacancies we have available.
Members have to re-enrol every year.
We provide childcare places in accordance with the Australian Government’s Priority of Access Guidelines.

Steps to enrol

Find out more about our centre. You can read our website, our information pack, our policies, or simply pop into the centre and have a look around. We are very happy to show new parents around our facility.

If you haven’t already, then register your family for Child Care Benefit (CCB) and the Child Care Rebate (CCR), by contacting the Family Assistance Office (FAO) on 13 61 50.
You’ll need to advise us of the Customer Reference Numbers (CRNs) that they give you for you and your children, as outlined in our enrolment form. -

In centre, submit your completed enrolment form with:

Your enrolment will be processed by our Centre Director.

You will be notified by phone or email if there is a place available for your child/ren and when they can start.

Fees
FEE FOR PERMANENT BOOKING
Before school care: $15 per day
After school care: $20 per day
FEE FOR CASUAL BOOKING
Before school care: $20 per day
After school care: $25 per day
DIRECT DEBIT FEE TIMETABLE
Fees are debited every 2 weeks during term time, according to a fixed timetable.
As of Term 1 2024, Putney OOSH no longer holds cash on the premises, we kindly accept payments via credit cards or direct debit.

OTHER FEES REQUIRED ON ENROLMENT
Annual membership fee of $55 per family. This is non-refundable.
Deposit bond of $50 - One off payment only for new families, refunded when the family leaves the centre.
LATE FEES
A late cash fee payable to the director or second in charge, will be charged from 6:00 pm and the amount will increse according to the rate schedule;
between 6.00 and 6:10 $10.00
between 6:10 and 6:15 $35.00
any time after 6:15 you will be charged $5.00 per minute.
If the centre is not contacted to inform us that you will be late this rate will commence from 6:00 pm.
If you have not notified the centre and you (or emergency contacts) can not be contacted by 6:30pm, then the child/children will be taken by the director/assistant director to Ryde police station for collection.
NON-NOTIFICATION FEE
For aftercare, per family $10.00 - when parents/carers have not notified the centre of child's abscence.
SETTING FEES
The centre is not-for-profit. Fees are reviewed every term based on attendance and the centre’s ability to meet the running costs. Parents will be given at least two weeks notice of any changes in the fees.

ABOUT CHILD CARE BENEFIT (CCB) AND CHILD CARE REBATE(CCR)
To claim Child Care Benefit (CCB) or Child Care Rebate (CCR) you need to be assessed and approved for those payments by the Family Assistance Office (FAO). The FAO issues Customer Reference Numbers (CRNs) for you and your child/ren.
You must provide us with the CRN and the date of birth of the parent who is claiming CCB and the CRN and the date of birth of your child/ren. With this information, we are then able to report your child’s attendance information through the financial year and, depending on the payment method you choose, receive Fee Reduction payments on your behalf.
