The Putney OOSH service is fully integrated and genuinely responsive to the local community and its culture. Children and parents are invited to regularly contribute to the centre through suggestions, meetings, surveys, and feedback that guides and informs future initiatives.
Our centre also offers a range of information relevant to the school, the local community and children's health and welfare.

Food is an important part of our daily routine. We provide interesting and nutritious food each session and encourage children's participation in the preparation, presentation and serving of meals.
Food times are seen as a social event where children and educators can relax, talk about their day and experience a variety of foods.
We provide nutritious and varied food, and children are encouraged to develop good eating habits through example and education.
Breakfast is served daily at the Centre between 7.00am & 8:00am. This consists of fruit, cereal, toast, muffins, crumpets, porridge. Children are offered Milo, Milk, Fruit Juice and Water to drink.
Afternoon tea is served on arrival at 3.30pm and includes a wide variety of home made hot or cold food, such as sandwiches, pasta, rice with chicken, soup or wraps etc. Fresh fruit and vegetables are available at afternoon tea.
High standards of hygiene are maintained throughout all food preparation and we maintain a record of any allergies that our children may have.
